Palestinian educator Basem El-Saleh (Saleh Bakri) is torn between his past as a radical and his present as a champion of nonviolence. Living in the heart of the West Bank, he faces the brutal realities of occupation as his student Adam, fueled by loss and rage, seeks revenge after a settler attack. With the stakes escalating, Basem's commitment to peace is tested as he forms a bond with British volunteer Lisa (Imogen Poots). A powerful, heart-wrenching story that makes Palestine's struggles feel undeniably real, The Teacher is a gripping exploration of resistance, love, and the fight for justice.
