After experiencing the first major trauma of her young life, Nia retreats to her family’s summer home in the remote Himalayas, seeking solace in solitude. There, amid the stark winter landscape, she forms unexpected connections with 70-year-old Bhemi, a wise, resilient mountain woman, and Sunny, a playful 8-year-old boy. As their unlikely bond grows, Nia begins to confront her pain and rediscover joy in the simple rhythms of nature and human connection. Shot in evocative black-and-white, Second Chance is a moving exploration of healing, hope, and the power of companionship in life’s darkest moments.
