Following the screening, Jennifer G. Robinson, Founder/Director of Women Of The Lens Film Festival, will join us an insightful discussion. Jennifer is a prominent figure in the British Black women's film industry, dedicated to amplifying the voices and talents of underrepresented groups.
About Jennifer G. Robinson
Jennifer's journey in the film industry began with her role as Festival Coordinator for the Black Filmmakers International Film Festival. Recognizing the need for platforms that prioritize the work of British Black women in the creative industries, she founded the Women Of The Lens Film Festival. Since its inception in 2017, the festival has showcased over 200 films from the UK and beyond, providing a vital platform for marginalized voices.
With a background in journalism, film, and education, Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her work. She is deeply committed to fostering opportunities for emerging talent and creating spaces for meaningful dialogue within the industry.
