Our screenings of 'Women Against The Bomb' were a festival highlight thanks to all these incredible Greenham women who joined us in Oswestry, Aberystwyth, and Swansea.
A special thank you to Ann Pettitt, Angie Zelter, Clare Hudson, and Rebecca Johnson the four Greenham women and active peace activists who joined us for a post-screening Q&A with the audience; but also to Bethan Siân Jones, CND Cymru's national secretary, who was also at the Q&A in Aberystwyth.
40+ years ago these women protested for a nuclear-free world and their peace movement and women-only camp in Greenham Common has become an inspiration for many peace movements ever since.
'Women Against The Bomb' is the inspirational story of the first all-female peace camp at Greenham Common, told from the inside by the women who were there, their children and grandchildren.
If you didn't get the chance to watch the film in the cinema, you can still watch it at WOW online and get to know more about these amazing women.
Available from March 31-April 7. 'Pay What You Feel' tickets!
