Recently his first feature film Ambulance won FIPA D'or as best feature documentary in the section Reportage and Investigation, and was winner of the jury award for Dest Documentary/ Young European Filmmaker, at FIPA/France. It was also winner of of Palestinian local award "Sun Bird" for Best Documentary film during the Days of Cinema in Palestine. Mohamed received a Norwegian award "ROOKIE/Skårungen" as best rookie director from The North Norwegian Film Center During TIFF 2016.
He has participated in many local, regional, and international exhibitions, film festivals, and workshops in Europe and the Arab world. Mohamed is also a member of the general committee of expression artists, a Member of the Union of Palestinian Artists and also a member of the Norwegian Film Association - Norsk Filmforbund (NFF) and the Directors Guild of Norway - Norske Filmregissører (NFR).
At Chapter the Q&A will be followed by a discussion chaired by Cardiff Palestine Solidarity Campaign chair Prof. Sharif Gemie with Rod Bull, who for seven years was CEO of a group of ophthalmic Hospitals in Jerusalem, Gaza strip, and in Hebron and Anabta in the West Bank. Rod will relate the dire plight of Palestinians in seeking badly needed healthcare within the Occupied Territories.
